Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP EHS Architect to lead and support the implementation of SAP Environment, Health, and Safety capabilities across a complex enterprise transformation program.
In this role, you will be responsible for shaping the EHS solution approach, planning the end-to-end implementation scope, and working closely with EHSM Architect and team of SAP consultants to deliver a scalable, integrated, business-aligned landscape.
You will be joining a manufacturing company undergoing a major SAP transformation, including an upgrade to SAP S/4HANA and a broader architectural modernization aligned with a roadmap focused on fast adoption and maximization of SAP Industry Best Practices.
Within this transformation, SAP Workplace and Product Safety are key functional areas. The target scope covers capabilities in Workplace Safety and Product Safety & Stewardship which include Incident Management, Injury/Illness Logs, Risk Assessment, Work Clearance Management, Product Compliance, Specification Management. Other sustainability module Sustainability Control Tower has already been implemented and therefore requires ongoing maintenance, and integration into the future-state architecture, while the remaining scope (including SAP Sustainability Footprint Management) must be planned and implemented in close collaboration with the project team.
Given the nature of this environment, many SAP modules and business processes are interfaced with third-party systems. As a result, experience with interfaces, integrations, and end-to-end process design will be essential. You will ensure that the EHS solution is not only functionally robust, but also well integrated into the broader SAP and non-SAP ecosystem.
Key responsibilities:
Lead the design, planning, and drive implementation of SAP EHS solutions across the defined project scope, ensuring the solution design aligns with the overall SAP transformation roadmap and architectural principles,
Translate business requirements into scalable SAP EHS process and system designs,
Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, functional consultants, and technical teams to integrate SAP EHS into the wider SAP landscape and connected third-party systems,
Define and support end-to-end business processes, integrations, and data flows related to EHS,
Provide functional guidance to the EHS team during implementation, testing, deployment, and hyper care,
Contribute to solution governance, documentation, fit-gap analysis, and best practice adoption,
Support system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and defect resolution for EHS-related processes.
Required skills & experience:
Strong hands-on experience as a Senior SAP EHS Architect in enterprise SAP environments,
Proven experience in planning and delivering end-to-end SAP EHS implementations, experience working on SAP transformation programs, ideally including SAP S/4HANA,
Strong knowledge of SAP EHS functional areas,
Experience with SAP projects in manufacturing or other complex industrial environments,
Strong understanding of integration points between SAP EHS and other SAP modules, as well as third-party systems,
Experience in requirements gathering, solution design, testing support, and stakeholder management,
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.
Nice to have:
Experience with SAP EHS in global or multi-country environments,
Exposure to sustainability-related SAP solutions and processes,
Experience with Agile or hybrid project delivery methodologies,
SAP certifications relevant to EHS or related SAP functional areas
