Job Description:
Salesforce Functional Consultant
1. Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
2. Must-Have Skills
- Strong understanding of Salesforce core modules (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Cloud).
- Experience with Salesforce configuration: objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, and automation tools (Flow, Process Builder).
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in conducting user training and workshops.
- Familiarity with data migration and testing processes.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
3. Good-to-Have Skills
- Exposure to third-party Salesforce apps and AppExchange solutions.
- Understanding of integration tools (e.g. MuleSoft & Dell Boomi).
- Experience with Agentforce, Data Cloud, or Experience Cloud.
- Basic knowledge of Apex and Visualforce (for collaboration with developers).
- Industry-specific experience (e.g. Financial Services, Healthcare.)
- Experience with change management and adoption strategies.
4. Certifications
Required/Highly Preferred:
- Salesforce Certified Administrator
- Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder
Nice to Have:
- Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator
- Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant
- Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant
