Overview: We are seeking a motivated Account Manager to drive growth and market penetration in the silicone related products portfolio for our Mobility & Transportation (M&T) business. This role will work with cross-functional teams to expand our footprint in silicone elastomer applications across electrical, industrial, oil & gas, consumer and automotive market segments, or responsible for the growth of silicone solutions in Mobility Electronics and OEMs ,through strategic partnerships and new business development with both direct customers and channels. 

The primary preferred location is Shenzhen, with Shanghai as an alternative.

Responsibilities:

  • Account management of new/existing customers and channels to achieve sales targets, in alignment with marketing and product plans.
  • Develop and execute account plan with cross-functional team.
  • Understand customer needs and identify new business opportunities at new/existing customers.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and concerns, and collaborates with other functions and stakeholders to enhance Customer Experience (CX).
  • Drive specialty product portfolio and innovation growth by collaborating closely with Marketing and Technical teams.
  • Leads negotiation, devise and implements price strategies to drive sustainable and profitable growth.
  • Stays informed about market trends and competitor activities, and shares with cross-functional team to adjust strategies accordingly.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of around 8 years experience in commercial or technical role, relevant areas in chemical, electrical or automotive preferred.
  • Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
  • Fluent in both oral and written English and Mandarin Chinese.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet business objectives.
