Senior Sales Executive, Enterprise 

The Senior Sales Executive, Enterprise will play a key role in the development, implementation, and execution of an Account Management strategy that is closely aligned with Convene Hospitality Group’s distinct business objectives. The Senior Strategic Sales Executive will partner with key accounts to demonstrate CHG’s value and maximise revenue yield through engagement across all platforms and brands, including Convene and etc.venues.

This person will drive business opportunities across our portfolio with clients based in the UK - expanding existing relationships and developing new contacts.

The Senior Sales Executive will report to the Senior Sales Manager, Enterprise Sales, and will work day to day with our Meetings Sales leadership, Revenue Management, Supplier Relations, Corporate Legal Team, and Marketing teams as necessary.

What You’ll Do:

  • Cultivate relationships with key enterprise accounts, liaising with Meetings senior leadership through consultative sales efforts to drive net incremental revenue.
  • Contribute to Account Plans by mapping out the organisational structure and identifying key leadership.
  • Establish, implement, and execute a holistic Global Account-based Sales Strategy for both meetings and Workplace to drive portfolio opportunities:
    • Coordinate and support regional sales efforts to optimise value for clients across products.
    • Aggregate and record key account intelligence, metrics, and feedback in Convene CRM to maximise insight.
    • Optimise the client experience and maximise revenue opportunities to drive a more seamless process for these key clients.
  • Negotiate and execute Platform Partnership Agreements (MSAs) that support the organisation’s revenue strategy and the growth of the Meetings and Workplace portfolio. Work closely with Meetings Sales Leaders, Corporate Leadership, and the Revenue Team to create scalable solutions for pricing across the portfolio for top accounts.
  • Take ownership of and execute property familiarisation tours, pitches/presentations, and the dissemination of key account insight to support the enterprise sales strategy.
  • When applicable, partner with Strategic Meetings Management Firms to drive brand awareness with key business influencers.
  • Work with Real Estate Development teams as necessary to share account-specific insight, revenue potential, and other metrics within new/target markets; Drive co-located deal strategy as applicable.

What We Look For:

  • 6+ years’ experience in Sales with a minimum of 3+ years in a complex and/or multi-unit sales environment.
  • Strong existing Meetings + Events client relationships.
  • Proven account management capability.
  • A strategic thinker with meticulous attention to detail; the ability to understand the overall business and strategy, and drive the execution of strategy into tactical action.
  • A proven ability to create strong and productive relationships at senior buyer levels within an organisation.
  • Proven deal closer and history as a collaborative (enterprise) seller.
  • Demonstrated hands-on proficiency with Salesforce.com.
  • Excellent collaborative skills and the ability to influence and motivate team members, especially those that do not report to you.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage various projects based on the current business requirements and landscape.
  • Ability to flourish in an extremely fast-paced, high-growth environment.

  • Exceptional track record of leadership with a willingness to be a player more often than a coach.
  • Responsive to demands from multiple internal and external stakeholder groups.
  • Must be challenging and diplomatic; able to influence those outside their own reporting structure.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to travel within the UK and internationally up to 2-10 days a month (when applicable/safe to travel).
  • Legal understanding and experience.
  • Negotiation skills
