Senior Sales Executive - Animal Nutrition Industry

The Senior Sales Executive – ANI will be responsible for having a deep expertise in the animal nutrition industry, covering poultry, livestock, and aquaculture. This role will lead nationwide business development, drive innovation, and build long-term customer relationships for the ANI business portfolio. Strong capabilities in pricing strategy, market intelligence, and dealer network expansion are essential. The role will be responsible to lead high-impact initiatives and deliver sustainable growth.

Core Responsibilities:

Business Leadership – Manage nationwide operations for the Animal Nutrition Ingredients portfolio. Conduct comprehensive market analysis to shape strategic plans, including market size, structure, competitive landscape, and customer segmentation. Design and implement sales strategies to expand market share and improve profitability. Lead pricing intelligence initiatives for agile decision-making and margin optimization. Develop and activate distribution channels to reach high-value customers across regions. Explore new markets for fish farming. Manage global customer accounts, including Crude Oil sales.

Innovation & Product Strategy – Identify and capitalize on new commercial opportunities in poultry, livestock, and aquaculture. Collaborate with R&D to develop advanced feed solutions and optimize manufacturing processes. Champion strategic projects like the “Low RE Project” to position Rafhan as a premium ingredient supplier. Explore innovative applications of starches, dextrose, and gluten in animal and pet nutrition. Partner with technical teams and academic institutions to research starch-based slow-release fertilizers.

Customer & Industry Engagement – Build and maintain strong relationships with senior-level customers, distributors, and industry stakeholders. Enhance customer awareness and technical understanding of animal nutrition ingredients through targeted engagement. Ensure seamless internal collaboration with QC, logistics, and warehouse teams. Stay ahead of industry trends and translate insights into actionable strategies. Expand dealer network in high-potential areas.

Strategic Initiatives - Optimize dealer network and align partners with key accounts. Manage security deposits and streamline dealer operations for continuity. Lead complaint resolution processes to ensure customer satisfaction. Monitor competitor pricing and advise leadership on strategic actions.

Requirements:

  • M.Sc. (Honors) in Animal Nutrition (Preferred) / MBA.
  • 5–7 years of technical experience in poultry, livestock, and aquaculture
  • Strong project and process management skills

Desirable requirements:

  • Sound judgment and problem-solving ability
  • Expertise in animal nutrition advisory and farmer support
  • Proficiency in SAP, Excel, and SharePoint
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken)
  • Having Enthusiastic and proactive approach with strong time management
