Senior Sales Engineer
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sales Engineer to join our team. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between technical solutions and client needs, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration between sales, technical teams, and customers. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional enterprise presentation and communication skills, an in-depth understanding of productivity platforms like Microsoft Office 365, Azure and Google Workspace, a solid understanding of various cybersecurity tools and cyberspace, and a strong foundation in networking and mailing platforms. The ideal candidate will also have a team-oriented mindset and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Enterprise Presentations and Communication: Deliver compelling technical presentations and product demonstrations to enterprise clients, effectively translating complex technical and cybersecurity concepts into clear, actionable business solutions.
- Technical Expertise: Maintain a deep understanding of Microsoft Office 365, Azure, Google Workspace, general mailing platforms, and cybersecurity tools to address client needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Cybersecurity Knowledge:
- Possess a solid understanding of cybersecurity tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, endpoint protection, and vulnerability assessment tools.
- Provide insights on best practices in cybersecurity and consult clients on security measures to ensure safe and compliant technology implementations.
- Networking Knowledge: Leverage strong networking expertise to support technical discussions, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless integration of solutions into client environments.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique challenges and providing solutions that align with their business goals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with sales executives, product teams, and R&D to customize solutions, address client feedback, and support the sales cycle.
- Problem-Solving: Assess customer challenges, identify needs, and develop innovative solutions to meet sales objectives and exceed client expectations.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed proposals, reports, and presentations using productivity tools like Microsoft Office.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a sales engineering or similar role, with a proven track record of success in selling complex enterprise solutions.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365/Azure and Google Workspace for creating presentations, proposals, and reports.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, email gateways, mailing platforms, computing infrastructure and cybersecurity tools.
- Familiarity with the cybersecurity landscape, including best practices in cyberspace and knowledge of compliance standards.
- Communication and Presentation Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical and cybersecurity concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Team Player: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Customer Focus: Strong relationship-building skills and a customer-centric approach to problem-solving.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with CRM tools and sales forecasting.
- Familiarity with industry-specific technologies, products, and cybersecurity certifications (CISSP, CISM, etc.).
- Ability to thrive in a results-driven environment and adapt to changing client needs.
The on-target earnings (OTE) range for this position is 640 000,00 −960 000,00 AED (OTE) plus benefits. This range represents the minimum and maximum new hire compensation for this role. The position may also be eligible for incentive plans and additional benefits, in accordance with company policy and local regulations. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location with individual compensation also dependent on factors such as qualifications, experience, and skills. Final offers will reflect these considerations and may vary accordingly.
