At Mimecast, we believe in empowering organisations to achieve greater resilience against cyber threats while ensuring business continuity. As a global leader in cybersecurity, we are dedicated to fostering innovation, inclusivity, and collaboration.
We are looking for a Senior Sales Enablement Business Partner (APAC) to join our Global Enablement team. In this senior individual contributor role, which reports to the Director of Field Enablement, you will be a key contributor to the vision and realisation of our overall strategy in APAC. You’ll act as the trusted enablement partner for APAC sales
leadership; building and executing a regional programme that equips our sellers with the skills, knowledge, tools, and confidence to drive pipeline growth and exceed revenue targets across one of our most diverse and fast-growing regions.
APAC is not a single market and this role recognises that. You’ll need to navigate meaningfully different buyer behaviours, sales cultures, and business environments across sub-regions - from ANZ to Singapore, Southeast Asia and beyond - while staying tightly connected to a global enablement strategy and a team that spans multiple time zones. If you’re a seasoned enablement practitioner who thrives with autonomy, builds credibility fast, and knows how to make global programmes land locally, we’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
As Senior Sales Enablement Business Partner (APAC), you will:
Translate Mimecast’s global enablement strategy into an APAC-specific plan; one that complements and extends the global programme rather than duplicating it, and that reflects the real diversity of markets across the region.
Act as a trusted advisor and enablement partner to APAC sales leadership, identifying regional performance gaps and tailoring programmes to address them with precision and pace.
Deliver high-impact enablement programmes spanning onboarding, ongoing skills development, methodology reinforcement, competitive readiness, and product and solution training.
Embed Mimecast’s sales methodology consistently across APAC, ensuring that the way we sell is understood, practiced, and reinforced, not just introduced.
Support new hire onboarding for APAC sellers, acting as a regional guide through the programme and providing coaching support to accelerate ramp time and build early confidence.
Use data and field insight to measure programme effectiveness, identify skill gaps, and make the case for high-impact enablement investments.
Engage actively with APAC sales teams. This means being a regular, visible and trusted presence in the office, joining calls and attending regional meetings, so that enablement remains grounded in what sellers actually need.
Partner with APAC sales leadership in QBRs, pipeline reviews, and forecast conversations to surface real-time enablement needs and demonstrate programme impact.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Pre-Sales, Customer Success, and RevOps to ensure enablement is aligned to go-to-market priorities across the region.
Work closely with global enablement peers to share content, avoid duplication, and build consistent seller experiences across regions.
Champion adoption of enablement tools and platforms; including Seismic, Gong, and the LMS. Ensure APAC sellers have access to the right resources and know how to use them.
Travel internationally on an occasional basis (not more than 15%) to support key enablement events, field engagements, and cross-regional collaboration, including global SKOs, and regional leadership offsites.
What You’ll Bring
5+ years of experience in sales enablement, sales training, or a revenue-facing role within B2B SaaS or technology.
Prior experience in a quota-carrying sales role. You understand the realities of the field and can build credibility with sellers and sales leaders quickly.
Demonstrated success designing and delivering enablement programmes that drive measurable behaviour change.
Experience operating across multiple APAC markets, with genuine understanding of how buyer behaviour, sales culture, and business norms differ across sub-regions.
Comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy - you don’t need a manager in the same time zone to stay organised, make good decisions, and deliver.
Deep knowledge of enterprise sales methodologies with a track record of embedding them into enablement programmes at scale.
Strong facilitation skills for delivering engaging enablement sessions in person and virtually, across diverse audiences and time zones.
Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse performance metrics, draw meaningful conclusions, and recommend programme adjustments with clear rationale.
Proficiency with enablement platforms (Seismic preferred), CRM tools (Salesforce), conversational intelligence tools (Gong), and learning management systems.
Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills; you know how to influence without authority and bring stakeholders with you.
Preferred Skills
Experience in cybersecurity, email security, or cloud security industries.
Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, Command of the Message, Sandler, or Value Selling frameworks.
Experience enabling sales teams through periods of organisational change, competitive market shifts, or rapid growth.
Multilingual capability is a plus but not required.
