About the Role

As a Senior Sales Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving data‑informed decision‑making across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply/Logistics teams. You will be responsible for developing advanced analytical models, automating processes, improving data quality, and partnering closely with business stakeholders.
This role requires both strong technical expertise and the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting & Analytics

  • Build, maintain, and enhance recurring reports and dashboards (Excel, Power BI).

  • Develop advanced analytical models (automated templates, pricing analysis, forecasting inputs, segmentation, performance tracking).

  • Ensure data accuracy through systematic validation and reconciliation of internal and external sources (NielsenIQ, Proxima).

Collaboration with Business Stakeholders

  • Work directly with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply/Logistics teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven insights.

  • Translate business questions into analytical tasks and deliver clear, actionable conclusions.

Data Engineering & Automation

  • Prepare, clean, integrate, and transform datasets from various providers (e.g., NielsenIQ, Proxima).

  • Design and automate end‑to‑end data processing workflows in Excel, Power Query, SQL, and Power BI.

  • Optimize existing dashboards, models, and data flows for performance and reliability.

  • Lead improvements in data architecture and contribute to new BI solutions and data model implementations.

Business Planning & Insight Generation

  • Support sales forecasting, budgeting cycles, and commercial performance reviews.

  • Provide insight into channel, customer, and portfolio performance, commercial KPIs, and market trends.

  • Partner with the SFE Manager to identify commercial opportunities, gaps, and efficiency drivers.

Continuous Improvement

  • Propose and implement process optimization initiatives (automation, template unification, enhanced reporting logic).

  • Contribute to capability building within the team (training on tools, sharing best practices).

Main Requirements

Experience & Functional Skills

  • 3+ years in Sales Analytics / Data Analytics, preferably in FMCG or Pharma.

  • Strong experience in building automated Excel models (complex formulas, VBA/macros, scenario modelling).

  • Advanced Power BI skills, including DAX and Power Query.

  • Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation (table creation, updates, joins, optimization).

  • Experience working with syndicated data (NielsenIQ, Proxima) is an advantage.

Soft Skills & Personal Attributes

  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while prioritizing tasks and driving results.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, paired with organizational agility and effectiveness in a fast‑moving business environment.

  • English – B2 / Intermediate (both written and verbal).
