The Role: Senior Research Analyst  

The Team: As a Senior Research Analyst, you will be a key contributor to advancing our understanding of the competitive landscape within the Commodity Insights sector. You will apply your strong analytical skills to support the development of comprehensive competitive and market research initiatives. Working closely with the Manager of Competitive Intelligence & Market Research, you will play a crucial role in executing research projects that provide critical insights to the business.

Your work will directly contribute to a deeper understanding of market trends and competitive dynamics, enabling the refinement of our market positioning and the identification of emerging opportunities. By executing research with precision and leveraging modern tools, you will help ensure our research practices remain at the cutting edge, thereby strengthening our competitive advantage.

Responsibilities: As a Senior Research Analyst, you will be a key contributor to advancing our understanding of the competitive landscape within the Commodity Insights sector. Your strong analytical skills will be essential in executing comprehensive research initiatives specific to this industry. Key responsibilities include: 

  • Execute market research projects using frameworks tailored to the unique needs of Commodity Insights. 

  • Support the development and maintenance of dashboards to provide actionable insights and visualization of market trends and competitive dynamics. 

  • Utilize modern technology and tools to gather, analyze, and present research findings effectively. 

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather detailed information and provide insights on customer and prospect personas, sectors, geographies, and markets of interest. 

  • Contribute to building strong stakeholder relationships by delivering timely and accurate research deliverables. 

  • Analyze and synthesize detailed information on markets, geographies, sectors, and customer personas to identify key trends and insights. 

  • Support the implementation of effective communication processes to ensure research insights reach and engage the intended audience. 

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to assist in translating research findings into strategic recommendations. 

  • Report to the Head of Competitive Intelligence & Market Research, ensuring alignment with team and organizational goals. 

 

 

What We’re Looking For:  

  • Proven experience in executing competitive research and analysis, with a strong ability to synthesize complex information. 

  • Experience in supporting the development of research reports and dashboards. 

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data and insights clearly and concisely. 

  • Experience working in a collaborative, international environment and coordinating with teams across different time zones. 

  • A highly organized and analytical thinker with a passion for uncovering market and competitive insights. 

  • Excellent attention to detail and unwavering commitment to delivering first class-quality output. 

  • Proficiency with market research tools and data visualization software is a plus.
