As a reliability engineer you are going to be responsible for identifying, leading, and executing activities aimed at reducing the cost of failure caused by non-productive time, performance KPIs, repair costs and personnel, and premature product/ services failures.

As a Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Being an expert in breaking down problems and estimate time for development tasks
  • Being skilled in providing oversight, mentoring team members and effectively delegate work
  • Demonstrating the ability to make informed technology choices after due diligence and impact assessment as well as serving as subject matter expert (SME) on one or more major services
  • Understanding the whole product, its services and the interrelationship between them while being an expert in the assigned component or service
  • Helping in designing interfaces and information exchange between services
  • Participating in the engineering planning review process, especially for critical jobs
  • Focusing on the dependability in the lifecycle management of a product
  • Identifying and assessing the ability of the system or component to function under stated conditions for a specified time or interval of time
  • Rolling up the individual reliability to the system level, including systems modeling - includes estimation, prevention modeling and management of high levels of "lifetime" engineering uncertainty and risks of failure
  • Applying root cause analysis (RCA) processes

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or scientific discipline from an accredited university or relevant industry experience with Integrated Projects
  • Demonstrate experience as a reliability engineer
  • Having strong reliability knowledge RCM Principles - FMEA, RBD/RAM analysis 
  • Being an Excel expert
  • Demonstrate excellent leadership, strong interpersonal, influencing and planning skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a global matrix organization
  • Advanced English and fluent Portuguese

You’ll further distinguish yourself if you:

  • Have CMMS experience - SAP and/or Maximo preferred
  • Have experience Technical Project Management (TPM)
  • Speak Spanish on a professional level
