BT Funds Management (NZ) Limited (BTNZ) is the investment arm of Westpac in New Zealand, and one of New Zealand’s leading fund managers, with over $14 billion of funds under management as of December 2025.
As a Senior Registry Officer, you’ll be part of our BTNZ Operations team, ensuring the efficient and accurate delivery of unit registry services. This role combines the core responsibilities of a Registry Officer with additional leadership support for our internal Registry Team Leaders.
Your day-to-day will include overseeing and managing incoming work and driving operational excellence. As a Subject Matter Expert (SME), you’ll contribute to team development through cross-training and upskilling initiatives, handle escalations and complaints, perform second-level reviews, reporting and assist with other administrative tasks as required.

Knowledge of Registry processes
Demonstrable self-leadership capability
Excellent Customer Service skills
Managing and prioritising multiple tasks, raising issues before they become critical
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
High level of accuracy and speed with data input
