Job Description

Position summary:

The Regional Manufacturing Engineer develops, implements and maintains operation methods, sequences and processes in the current manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies.

Estimates manufacturing costs, determines time standards and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of our products.

Maintain records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.

You will report to our RME MTY SITE MANAGER.

Location: Monterrey, Mexico.

Essential Functions:

  • Engineer with a deep interaction with plant operations but also support department's needs.
  • Participate in the assessment, evaluation and planning projects where productivity is the main target.
  • Standardize processes and production methods between multiple factories to reach the best way to do it.
  • Work with strategic organizations for accomplishing time sensitive projects to maximize manufacturing capabilities while creating resiliency within the company.
  • Support advance manufacturing teams abroad to install new tools, machines, and equipment in local facilities where you will be based.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • BSc in Engineering on industrial, mechanic, electrical degree or similar.
  • Advanced English.
  • 3 years of experience in the Manufacturing area.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • Project Management Experience
  • Knowledge of lean methodology tools and practices

Scope of actions:

  • Project leadership
  • Financial evaluations, costings
  • Multi-department / plants relations and interactions
  • Public speaking skills when presenting projects to senior leadership
