Senior Regional Business Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Drive the long-term growth of Abbott Nutrition products through the leadership of a high performing, agile, ethical sales team. Develop a robust talent pipeline of high performers who drive the business, and may be developed into future Abbott leaders 

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Leverage business analytics and customer insights to conduct on-going analysis of growth potential throughout the region and create an omnichannel engagement strategy to establish Abbott as the brand of choices throughout the region  
  • Prioritize market and category opportunities within territory/area by using real-time omnichannel business intelligence to allocate resources 
  • Develop a high performing ethical sales team, balancing individual and team strengths, and development needs to maximize all opportunity channels to drive business 
  • Leverage Marketing and Customer analytics, CRM data and other measures (as required) to track and hold the team accountable for territory progress against KPIs, by observing and coaching Supervisors and Medical reps  
  • Use interactive data visualization to explore and communicate about territory/area performance, potential, and to support strategic decision-making 
  • Develop supervisors as coaches and leaders to foster ongoing team development and drive results 
  • Build strategic relationships with KOLs and hospital stakeholders across channels and platforms (digital, remote/virtual & face-to-face) to expand Abbott influence throughout the region, including leveraging these relationships to gain access to and build relationships with new customers 
  • Innovate the use of digital tools and platforms to deliver different types of customer/business value to a variety of customers (HCPs, accounts, policy decision-makers, etc.), to develop an increasingly integrated omnichannel engagement strategy 

    • Provides Clear Direction and Vision to Sales Force 
    • Aligns team Goals with Affiliate and Corporate Strategy 
    • Manages and Supports Team through Change 
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Analytics, Training, SFE) to plan and execute brand strategy at the regional level and improve the quality of customer insights  
    • Accelerate the development of digital knowledge and application in Supervisors through coaching, mentoring and role-modeling  
    • Build and maintain relationships with critical customers and accounts across omnichannel engagements to increase awareness and loyalty to Abbott brand products 
    • Role-model ethical behavior by demonstrating integrity and transparency 
    • Act in alignment with compliance and regulatory expectations 

    • Experience Details
      • Experience in Sales with at-least 2 years as Regional Manager 

      • Knowledge of market dynamics, demographics of area. 

      • Should have experience in working in Pediatric and Medical environment 

      • Should have high analytical abilities. 

      • Ability to embrace change in the scale and scope of business model(s) Ability to collaborate with other Support Functions & Trade Teams. 

      • Must have understanding of financial and legal regulations. 

      • Should have understanding of analysing external data and competitive trends. 

      • Should have experience in managing large teams and businesses. 

      • Should be dynamic, inspiring and go getter. 

      • Should have the capability to handle multiple teams.

      Should have handled Metro Regional Manager role previously (Mandatory)

      Should have experience in working in Nutrition and FMCG segment
