Your Role:
The Senior RAM Engineer provides technical management of the local RAM services that are concerned with outcomes that captures Reliability, Availability and Maintainability issues to ensure the effectiveness
You will also have accountability for:
Acting as the Program Technical Point of Contact, and Management of local RAM team tasking.
Proactive identification and mitigation of RAM degraders/issues on the relevant Programs systems and improved TCO outcomes.
Developing or supporting RAM Enterprise development and Reporting on RAM deliverables.
Provide RAM/Obsolescence analysis support to the relevant Program functions, ECPs, CAPDEV projects using RAM and LCC Analysis methods and tools.
About You:
Aircraft / Avionics, Electrical, Structural, or Mechanical Systems Engineering education required (Degree Professional Engineer)
You must be eligible to be admitted to the Australian Institute of Engineers as a Member.
RAM engineering qualifications or certifications
Demonstrated leadership experience working in complex engineering task
Environments and leading small teams managing complex aviation issues.
Experience in Defence aviation leading, investigating, managing, or working within aviation reliability and system integrity programs
In depth knowledge of RAM engineering process, methods and tools
