Summary:

Join our Radiation Medicine team as a Radiation Therapist in a role that blends advanced technical expertise with compassionate patient care. In this position, you will independently perform complex radiation therapy procedures, including specialized and less commonly used treatments, while delivering carefully planned courses of radiation therapy. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring treatment accuracy and safety by maintaining and verifying detailed treatment records, applying radiation protection principles, and supporting the safe use of radioactive materials.

The starting hourly rate for this position is $42.72 which includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience

License Requirement
License to practice as a radiation therapist in the State of New York.
Education and Experience
Associate’s degree and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time experience in the practice of Radiation Therapy.

NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor of Science in Radiation Therapy and bring five or more years of experience in a clinical radiation therapy setting. They will have hands‑on experience performing advanced and specialized procedures such as SBRT, TSEI, TBI, SGRT, and IGRT, along with proficiency using Varian TrueBeam, MOSAIQ, Align, Ethos, and GE CT scanners. This individual will also demonstrate strong leadership qualities, including excellent communication and teamwork skills, and a deep commitment to delivering compassionate, patient‑focused care.
