Senior Quantitative Analyst

We’re looking for a Senior Quantitative Analyst to join our Quants team at Flutter UK & Ireland.

As a Senior Quantitative Analyst, you will build and maintain sophisticated predictive models that enable traders, risk managers and analysts to deliver cutting-edge products to customers. You will contribute across the full lifecycle of quantitative models, from development through to real-world application and performance monitoring.

The Quants team is a core function within UK & Ireland Trading and aligns itself with the goals of the department using statistical analysis to develop predictive models in areas such as sports modelling, risk management and automated trading strategies. The team use mathematics, classical statistics, and machine learning methods to provide automated solutions to scale and improve trading and risk management practices.

Quants provide both qualitative and quantitative expertise across sports trading, analytics and risk management. As a department we take calculated risks associated with the outcome of sporting events and the betting behaviours of customers. We manage this risk effectively to maintain healthy profit margins and deliver industry leading customer experience with safer gambling at the heart of what we do. This is achieved by constantly evolving the development of predictive quantitative models coupled with the expertise from our in-house traders and analysts.

  • Act as a driving force within the Quants team, mentoring junior members and leading their development by supervising and guiding work to ensure it is delivered accurately, efficiently and on schedule.

  • Learn and develop new technical skills as required to contribute to team growth and share knowledge with the wider Flutter group.

  • Become a central contributor to the ambitious, energetic & development-focussed atmosphere within the team. Give due regard to the importance of creating a positive working environment for colleagues.

How you’ll do it:
