Are you someone who can:

  • Ensure delivery of value-add outputs across the analytics value chain to enable business strategy
  • Utilise, create and refine analytical solutions/models to inform portfolio decision making in order to grow WI business
  • Develop analytical insights to solve business problems and apply innovative solutions to optimise portfolio models
  • Focus on providing optimal services and improving service delivery processes to meet our internal and external (clients) expectations.
  • Always frame your analytical solutions within the business context, as such always takes keen interest in what drives the business
  • Play a hands-on role in day-to-day activities and maintain relationships with business units: involvement in research, data preparation, support, analysis, interpretation, and implementation for portfolio solutions, as well as ad hoc requests

You will be an ideal candidate if you have:

  • Minimum Qualification - Relevant Degree in Maths, Stats, Engineering, Computer Science, Econometrics, Physics or Actuarial Science/Finance
  • Preferred Qualification - Honours Degree
  • Experience: 5+ years’ experience in a portfolio construction environment, with a solid experience of working in Matlab and Morningstar
  • Ability to present and communicate technical findings to non-technical audience
  • A self-starter that pays attention to detail and takes initiative
