Position Overview:

Boeing India Defense Private Limited (BIDPL) team is currently looking Senior Quality Systems Specialist to join their team in New Delhi, India to support the Quality Manager/MR in implementing, maintaining, and improving the Quality Management System for BIDPL programs.

This role focuses on hands‑on QMS administration, internal audit execution, document & change control, metrics tracking, and close coordination with relevant stakeholder to ensure compliance with contract, regulatory, and Boeing governance requirements.

Position Responsibilities:

1.     QMS Administration

  • Maintain and administer QMS documentation, procedures, work instructions, forms, and records.

  • Manage document control, revision control, and configuration of QMS artifacts.

  • Support roll‑out and baseline of program‑specific Quality Assurance Plans (QAPs) and process flows.

2.     Audit & Compliance Support

  • Plan, schedule and perform internal audits per the audit program; prepare audit reports and track corrective actions.

  • Support external audits and certification activities by preparing evidence, hosting auditors, and closing findings.

  • Ensure QMS processes comply with applicable contract, regulatory and internal governance requirement

3.     Corrective Action & RCA

  • Support root cause analysis and corrective / preventive action (CAPA) implementation and closure.

  • Track non‑conformances, recurring issues, and effectiveness checks; escalate systemic issues to the Quality Manager.

4.     Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Collect, analyze and report QMS KPIs (audit results, NCR trends, CAPA status, FTQ metrics, supplier quality indicators).

  • Prepare status reports and dashboards for the Quality Manager and program leadership.

5.     Continuous Improvement

  • Identify process improvement opportunities within the QMS and support implementation.

  • Help implement lessons learned and best practices across programs.

6.     Training & Change Management.

  • Support QMS training delivery and awareness campaigns for new/updated processes.

  • Supporting adoption of QMS changes at the operational level.

7.     Stakeholder & Cross‑Functional Coordination

  • Liaise with program teams, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and suppliers to ensure QMS requirements are understood and implemented.

  • Provide day‑to‑day quality systems guidance to product acceptance specialists and other quality staff.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree is required as a BASIC QUALIFICATION

  • 10+ years of experience working with and supporting Quality Management System (QMS) I.e. ISO9001 (International Organization for Standardization) and AS9100D (Aerospace Standard)

  • ​​​Experience using or applying metrics to measure performance against projects to ensure high quality delivery

 

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Lead Auditor certification for AS9100 Rev D  (preferred).

  • Strong working knowledge of AS9100 Standard, including Government of India / Ministry of Defence (GOI-MOD) standards and military specifications.

  • Should be able to lead and manage internal and external audit programs, including preparing objective evidence, managing audit logistics, and closing findings.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including experience preparing executive reports, & MRM materials, and presenting QMS performance to leadership, when needed.

  • Strong problem‑solving capability with hands‑on experience in structured RCA/CAPA methods (8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone) and verifying effectiveness.

  • Proficiency with QMS tools and enterprise data management system,

  • Ability to develop and maintain dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Power BI (preferred), or advanced Excel.

  • Prior exposure to working with Defense/Regulatory audit bodies (e.g., DGAQA, MSQAA) (Preferred)

Typical Education & Experience:

  • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 13 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+ 12 years' related work experience.

This position does offer relocation within INDIA. Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience is required.
