Senior Quality Systems Engineer

Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping has an immediate opportunity for a Quality Systems Engineer in our Windsor, Ontario Facility. The Quality Systems Engineer is responsible for supporting audits. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a stamping environment, be self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for performing internal audits as per audit schedule (IATF, VDA, CQI-9, CQI-15, CQI-12).
  • Responsible for closing corrective actions with team members.
  • Responsible for being the liaison between the organization and the registrar.
  • Manage the customer specific requirements and offer technical support.
  • Drive continuous improvements for the Business Management System.
  • Drive improvements in the document control process.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Four-year college degree, or equivalent experience in an automotive manufacturing environment
  • Certified ISO/TS16949 Internal Auditor with a minimum of 3 years internal audit experience
  • Working knowledge of the AIAG Core Tools (PPAP, SPC, APQP, FMEA, MSA)

Preferred Qualifications

  • IATF Certification and VDA Certification

The salary range for this role is $75,000 – $100,000.  An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on numerous factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location and business or organizational needs.
