The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Senior Quality Manager (Level L) to support the Workforce Planning and Development team onsite in Everett, Washington. This role will require occasional travel within the Puget Sound area, based on business needs. Periodic travel to other locations, including South Carolina, may also be required from time to time.
As a Senior Quality Manager for employee training, you will collaborate with BCA Foundational Training Centers and MBU focals across various BCA functions. Your main responsibility will be to work across Quality functions and programs, focusing on skill enhancement, required training, onboarding and standard on the job training (SOJT) while partnering with senior leaders within HR and Communications. Lead efforts to enrich and expand Quality training programs for key Quality responsibilities.
In this position, you will oversee employee activities across multiple Quality Job codes, while managing, developing, and motivating employees, first-level managers and peers. You will be responsible for developing and executing business plans, policies, and procedures, as well as formulating organizational and technical strategies. Additionally, you will provide education and coaching on the Quality System, acquire and manage resources, and lead process improvements. Building and maintaining relationships/partnerships with customers, peers, partners, suppliers, and direct reports will be essential. Candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, including the ability to translate complex issues into clear, actionable insights and communicate effectively with executive stakeholders.

Position Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor senior managers, managers and employees
Partner with other functions to ensure processes used to manage, develop and improve areas are effective and integrated
Develop and execute business plans, policies and procedures
Monitor and act to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the team
Provide education and coach on connecting the quality systems and processes
Understand business objectives, strategies, and conditions affecting all areas of the program
Develop and maintain partnering relationships with program leaders, quality stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports
Communicate and convey quality status and actions to improve
Excellent written and verbal communication; experience producing newsletters, executive messaging, and multimedia content
Data-informed mindset: comfortable using survey, safety, ethics, and operational data to prioritize and measure programs
Skilled influencer and relationship-builder with senior leaders and HR partners
Lead process improvement activities for the team
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or experience in a regulated industry
5+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role
3+ years of experience in organizational culture, employee engagement, and/or organizational development roles
3+ years of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior executives, customers, stakeholders, peers and partners
3+ years of experience in building and presenting plans or recommendations to executive leadership
3+ years of experience leading systematic problem solving
Travel up to 15% of the time
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience in a Quality job role
3+ years of experience in defining, developing, and producing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)/metrics for management and executive management information system use
Experience in a production-related discipline such as Manufacturing, Quality, Production, Engineering, Supplier Management, and/or Supplier Quality
Experience in cross-functional leadership, collaborative problem solving, building lasting relationships & proficiency in written and verbal communication
Ability to proactively and quickly make sense of complex technical issues; respond effectively to complex and ambiguous situations; and communicate complicated information simply
Experience navigating and influence across organizational boundaries to drive consensus and execution
