POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Quality Engineering Manager is responsible for defining and executing a strategic QE roadmap aligned with business goals. This role leads and develops a high-performing team focused on test automation, AI-enabled testing, and shift-left practices within CI/CD pipelines. The manager collaborates cross-functionally to align technology strategy and delivery, while establishing KPIs to measure quality, velocity, and defect reduction. By driving governance and standardization, the Sr QE Manager ensures scalable, reliable, and measurable solutions that accelerate digital transformation and support enterprise growth.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Define and implement QA strategy and automation roadmap.
Lead and mentor a team of quality engineers to deliver high-quality releases.
Drive shift-left testing and continuous quality practices within CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate with engineering and product teams to align quality goals with delivery objectives.
Establish and monitor KPIs for quality, velocity, and defect reduction.
Collaborate with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
8+ years in Quality Engineering, with 3+ years in leadership roles
Proven expertise in building and scaling test automation frameworks
Strong knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) and API testing platforms (e.g., Postman, RestAssured)
Experience driving shift-left testing practices within CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with AI-enabled testing approaches and intelligent automation solutions
Knowledge of cloud environments, microservices, and monitoring/observability tools (e.g., Splunk, Datadog, New Relic)
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
