Position Overview and Objective
As a Senior Quality Engineer, you'll take a leadership role in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-impact test automation frameworks and strategies that ensure the quality of our cybersecurity solutions. You'll mentor junior QEs, influence quality architecture decisions, and collaborate closely with developers, security teams, and DevOps to deliver robust, efficient, and reliable systems. You will also act as a quality gate, ensuring that only thoroughly tested and validated features make it to production.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Quality Engineer at ARCTIC WOLF, you will:
Drive implementation and accountability of quality standards in the team
Drive the improvement of test plans and test cases
Lead team through manual and automated testing activities to ensure that the product meets the quality standards
Ensure that the test plan is completely executed before the release
Hold team accountable for test planning for projects
Collaborate with software engineers to guide, formulate and review test plans and test cases
Collaborate with product manager to refine requirements and define acceptance criteria
Hold the team accountable for test coverage up to the standards set by the team
Guide team toward better testing practices
Audit quality metrics of the team
Identify bugs, and lead root cause analysis efforts for bugs and defects
Identify and implement tools necessary to execute quality efforts
Mentor junior engineers on best quality practices
SME of the features getting developed by the team
Raise quality concerns with the team and stakeholders through appropriate channels
Be the spokesperson for their customers
Experience and Requirements:
We’re looking for someone with experience in:
Strong experience in designing, reviewing, and improving test plans and reports
Hands-on skills in writing and maintaining test automation in Python, Go, or similar
Deep understanding of test methodologies and non-functional testing needs
Ability to triage, prioritize, and track bugs based on SLAs and severity
Proven track record in identifying test coverage gaps and process improvements
Solid understanding of quality tools, metrics, and test environments
