Senior Quality Assurance – M2M
Verisure, operating under two brand names (Securitas Direct & Verisure) is seeking a talented, innovative, passionate QA Tester. The role will part of a growing and talented Technology team and will report directly to the M2M – IT Reception Systems department.

We now have the opportunity for a QA Tester to join the Technology HUB in Spain. We are looking for a highly driven, talented and experienced Engineer who manage and develop high quality software applications. Someone ready to contribute to backend and frontend quality through automated testing and cloud infrastructure validation.
Responsibilities will include:
Development of technical analysis and designs as of the specifications of the business requirements and functional analysis documentation (BDD/TDD - Given-When-Then).
Design, implement, and execute automated tests for backend applications (primarily) and frontend (desirable).
Ensure code quality and manage technical debt using SonarQube (rules and quality gates).
Configure and optimize CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).
Perform performance, load, and resilience testing.
Validate configurations and deployments in AWS environments (PaaS, IaaS, and SaaS).
Analyze and propose implementation alternatives, contributing with the technical vision from the QA point of view.
Collaborate in detecting and resolving security, compliance, and cost issues in cloud environments.
Application owner, in terms of Delivery and Service.
Location Working under a Hybrid Model, you’ll work from home and at our Alicante offices.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic solution provider as well as operational enabler.
Required Qualifications:
Mid–Senior (5–8 years) of provable experience in IT.
High level of English (B2 or higher).
Solid knowledge in QA/Testing methodologies (ISTQB, shift-left, test pyramid).
Hands-on experience with Java, Git, and REST API development (Postman, RestAssured).
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and validation tools (TFLint, Checkov, OPA)
Knowledge in AWS cloud services and Kubernetes (EKS).
Experience with relational and non-relational databases (Mongo, Oracle, DynamoDB).
Previous experience working in agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
Will be a plus:
Frontend development and testing (Selenium, Angular).
Testing with Terratest (Go) or equivalent frameworks.
Validations with Kitchen-Terraform + InSpec.
