GENERAL PURPOSE
The Sr. Software Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for leading and managing software testing initiatives to ensure all products and platforms meet the highest standards of quality and performance. This role involves designing and executing comprehensive testing strategies, mentoring junior QA team members, and collaborating with cross-functional development, product, and business teams to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions.
This position is part of a digital center of excellence supporting enterprise applications across multiple business domains and geographies. The role is ideal for someone passionate about quality, process, and continuous improvement, with a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test automation, and agile delivery frameworks.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Lead and execute manual and automated software testing across multiple platforms, including Salesforce, NetSuite, Cybersource, Manhattan OMS/SCALE, and AWS-integrated services.
Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts aligned with business and technical requirements.
Ensure complete test coverage for all functional, regression, integration, and usability testing activities.
Apply deep understanding of SDLC and agile/scrum methodologies to integrate testing throughout the development lifecycle.
Identify, document, and track software defects and coordinate with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
Oversee the use and maintenance of test management tools such as Playwright, Jira, and Zephyr.
Conduct root-cause analysis for issues to drive corrective and preventive actions.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure quality considerations are embedded in all phases.
Create, maintain, and improve QA documentation including test cases, execution reports, and defect logs.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
6–8 years of professional experience in software quality assurance, including web application and e-commerce testing.
Hands-on experience testing Salesforce.com, NetSuite, and Warehouse Management systems.
8+ years of manual testing experience, including functional, regression, performance, smoke, and integration testing.
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) environments.
Experience with project and test management tools such as Jira, Zephyr, and Playwright.
Ability to mentor and lead QA team members while driving continuous quality improvements.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal), able to articulate testing findings and quality insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and changing environment.
Demonstrates a proactive and constructive approach to feedback and process improvement.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables simultaneously.
A strong advocate for the importance of QA within the software delivery lifecycle.
