Senior QA Test Engineer

We seek an experienced Senior QA Test Engineer to join our team (and client) to maintain product health and long term maintainability/stability.  This role is located in-office in Menlo Park, CA. (no remote)

You will:

  • Identify, architect and implement long term automation solutions for ambiguous problems.
  • Build test tools and framework that help organization maintain good product health and long term maintainability and stability. The responsibility includes supervising product change with quality goals, and redesigns test framework to support experimentation and rollout.
  • Define long-term quality driven roadmaps and prioritization aligned with client's business goals. Focus on identifying opportunities for innovation and emerging technologies to enhance the client's quality testing capabilities, while aligning the vision with XFN partners.
  • Showcase the ability to identify improvements in existing processes, take ownership and drive to resolution through others.
  • Mentor multiple XFN engineers and helps coach them to be successful. Bring clarity and removes ambiguities and ensuring the technical solutions aligns to org strategies and business goal.

Qualifications

  • Software developer Engineer in Test (SDET) with 8+ years of experience in software automation (UI and/or Integration).
  • Automation framework and infrastructure (Selenium)
  • Experience with JavaScript, Hack, PHP, Cypress
  • Independent self-learner

Salary Range: 

$120,000 - $205,000 annually
This range reflects the base salary that we reasonably expect to pay for Senior Engineers. Actual compensation may vary depending on relevant factors including experience, skills and location.

Minimum Degree Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, in lieu of a degree, demonstrating in addition to the minimum years of experience required for the role, three years of specialized training and/or progressively responsible work experience in technology for each missing year of college is required
