Your key responsibilities

As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will be crucial in guaranteeing the quality and integrity of our API-driven Corporate Banking platforms. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and robust API automation frameworks and test suites.
  • Collaborating closely with Business Functional Analysts, Product Managers, and Developers to understand complex functional and non-functional requirements and translate them into comprehensive test plans and automation scripts.
  • Applying deep expertise in Corporate Banking domains, with a strong focus on Payments (e.g., SWIFT, SEPA, ACH, Cross Border Payments) and Trade Finance, to create realistic and effective test scenarios.
  • Designing and implementing strategies for functional, integration, regression, and performance testing of APIs.
  • Ensuring traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects, and providing clear, concise reports on test progress and product quality.
  • Driving continuous improvement in testing practices, tools, and processes within the agile team.
  • Actively participating in all scrum team ceremonies, advocating for quality and shift-left testing approaches.
  • Mentoring and guiding junior QA engineers in automation best practices and domain understanding.

Your skills and experience

We are looking for a talented individual with a passion for innovation and a proven track record in the Corporate Banking space, particularly within the Payments and Trade Finance domains.

Mandatory Skills & Experience:

We are looking for a talented individual with a passion for quality and automation, with a proven track record in the Corporate Banking space, particularly within the Payments and Trade Finance domains.

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in developing automation test scripts, preferably in the Corporate Banking sector.
  • Strong proficiency in programming and scripting using Java, Karate, Gatling, Python.
  • Good knowledge of REST APIs, Postman/Bruno, Swagger, SQL.
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Jira).
  • Deep domain expertise in Corporate Banking, specifically within the Payments landscape (e.g., SWIFT, SEPA, ACH, Cross Border Payments, ISO20022 formats for Payments and Account Management) and Trade Finance.
  • Exceptional analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex business and technical requirements into detailed test cases and automation scripts.
  • Outstanding communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience (Bonus Points For):

  • Experience in validating non-functional requirements such as security, performance testing, and Disaster Recovery (DR).
  • Experience in public Cloud Platforms like GCP, AWS, Azure.
  • Knowledge about Authentication mechanisms like OAuth2, mTLS, etc.
