We are looking for a Senior Property Underwriter to join our Property Underwriting team. The position is based in Espoo (Finland) having portfolio of Finnish Property clients. About the role
In this role you will be part of Property team handling complex and interesting insurance solutions to our clients and brokers. You will work together with your teammates but also with other teams, for example Sales, Risk Management, RE insurance. Responsibilities include:
Risk assessment, design insurance programs and premium setting for risks.
Negotiate with clients and brokers.
Primarily the Finnish Property portfolio.
Provide customers and brokers with ongoing service.
Product development.

Who are you?
We are seeking a candidate with deep knowledge in the property industrial insurance business and substantial experience in international program business and shared solutions, such as captives and co-reinsurance. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and cooperation skills, an analytical approach with strategic understanding, and a curious mindset eager to learn new skills and find the best solutions for our customers’ needs. An interest in utilizing digital solutions in our business and a Nordic approach to collaboration with colleagues across the Nordic countries are also essential.
You also have:
An academic education at university level, preferably in technology or economics.
Excellent English and Finnish language skills.
