Job Description Summary

Manage and maintain the common areas of a cluster of public housing flats in designated Town Council.

About the Role:

  • Manage and maintain the common areas of a cluster of public housing flats in designated Town Council.
  • Duties include responding to MPs, residents’ feedback, coordinating and carrying out maintenance routines such as cleaning, conservancy, landscaping and horticultural works, as well as improvement and cyclical projects.
  • Liaise with grassroots organizations on the management of the common areas.
  • Assist Property Manager in special projects as and when assigned.
  • Take on special duties such as team leader role, report submission, contractor coordination, CIPC submission, safety coordinator etc
  • Train and guide property officers to be aligned with the targets set.
  • Monitor contractors’ performance on routine maintenance, cyclical maintenance and improvement projects.  Contractors to meet the required maintenance standards.
  • Ensure key performance indicators for the estate are met.
  • Perform any related duties as required and directed.
  • Take accountability and ownership of Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) standards and outcomes in building up a Safety Culture.

About You:

  • Diploma in Building/ Real Estate Management/ Property
    Management/ Building Services/ Facility Systems Design/ Facility
    Technology/ Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent,
    with at least 3 years of relevant experiences in estate management and maintenance; or Higher Nitec/GCE A Level with 8 years of relevant experiences in estate management and maintenance
  • Ability to communicate well with residents and grassroots leaders
  • Fast and diligent worker
  • Positive attitude and Willingness to take on greater responsibilities
  • Have leadership qualities
  • Team player
