Are you looking for a role with broad responsibility, many interfaces, and a direct impact on the successful launch and lifecycle of in-vitro diagnostic products? We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager / Senior Production Preparation Manager to join our Production Preparation Management team in Uppsala.
In this role, you will manage and participate in projects that span product development, product updates, product registrations, and process development—helping ensure our products reach customers efficiently, compliantly, and with the highest quality.
Lead Projects and Transfers
Manage and participate in cross-functional projects related to new product introductions, product updates, and process changes.
Lead the Design Transfer of new and updated products into regular production.
Conduct and take responsibility for production reviews to secure readiness and smooth implementation.
Drive Process Excellence
Contribute to developing, refining, and improving our production preparation processes.
Promote continuous improvement within the team, ensuring streamlined workflows, strong documentation, and high-quality project deliveries.
Collaborate Across Functions
Work closely with colleagues across:
Production
Regulatory Affairs
Quality Assurance
R&D
Process Validation
Supply Chain
Most activities are based at our Uppsala site, with some collaboration extending to our sites in Freiburg, Germany and Ängelholm, Sweden.
Experience & Background
Currently working in a coordinating or leadership position such as Project Manager, Quality Manager, Development Manager, Technical Specialist, or similar.
University degree in a scientific or technical field.
Experience in Design & Development, Design Control, and Design Transfer within in-vitro diagnostics or another highly regulated field (medical technology, pharmaceuticals, life science).
Proven ability to independently lead and drive projects.

Strong focus on quality, documentation, and compliance.
A driven and analytical problem solver with the ability to manage multiple activities.
Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English.
A collaborative team player with proactive behavior and strong leadership capability.
Efficient, flexible, and innovative, with the ability to maintain an integrated view while managing complex workflows.
Solid understanding of production flows is a strong merit.
