We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager, Transformation Lead. This role is critical in driving and managing site & product initiatives that support strategic business transformation.  The work involves planning, coordinating, and executing key initiatives, all the while ensuring alignment with business unit goals and managing the performance of the program(s) to ensure targets are met. The Senior Project Manager will work closely with stakeholders across various business units to achieve measurable outcomes and deliver sustainable change.

This position will work onsite at our Monroe, NC facility.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead strategic, cross-functional transformation initiatives focused on product moves in and out of the site
  • Leverage project management standards, methodologies, and best practices for use in the leading of these initiatives
  • Provide regular updates to the direct site team and across business units, operations, and all supporting functions.
  • Monitor project performance against established KPIs, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks through proactive planning and intervention strategies.
  • Build change management strategies to support successful implementation of transformation initiatives.
  • Serve as the liaison between individual business unit program leaders and the repair facility, interfacing effectively to ensure successful implementation and execution of product / program specifications and requirements
  • Partner with internal and external customers to understand the true customer need / issues and ensure that the customer receives the highest standards of services

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience in program or project management or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum of 10 years of experience in program or project management
  • 2 + years of experience leading transformation or cost reduction initiatives
  • Experience applying Data Analysis and Visualization tools
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, CORE, etc)

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Project Management Certification with proven ability to apply formal project management methodologies and lead cross functional teams to complete tasks against defined KPIs and timelines
  • Prior experience working in a site-based, operations, manufacturing, repair, or industrial aerospace environment
  • Prior experience coordinating product transitions, launches, or transfers across sites or business units
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive consensus in complex organizational environments.
  • Change management expertise with proven ability to drive organizational adoption

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
