About This Role

Togetherwork is seeking an experienced and highly driven Senior Project Manager to lead large, complex, client-facing software implementation projects. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, project management discipline, and exceptional communication skills. You will partner with cross-functional teams and external clients to deliver high-quality implementations that meet functional, financial, and timeline objectives while driving outstanding customer experiences.

What You'll Do:
  • Serve as the primary project lead for external client-facing software implementation projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery aligned with client expectations.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including solution consultants, developers, data migration specialists, and product teams.
  • Oversee integration dependencies, data migration planning, and technical delivery milestones to ensure readiness for testing and go-live.
  • Manage all phases of the project lifecycle, including planning, resource scheduling, risk management, execution, change control, and closure.
  • Actively engage with clients to understand business processes and recommend optimizations based on industry best practices.
  • Lead internal project teams by allocating resources and tracking progress against project goals.
  • Ensure clear communication across technical teams, client stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
  • Monitor and report on project status, risks, issues, and financials to leadership and clients.
  • Facilitate service delivery using internal systems, standard operating procedures, and project management best practices.
  • Develop a strong understanding of solution architecture to effectively coordinate technical teams and partners.
  • Leverage AI-enabled tools to support planning, risk identification, and documentation while maintaining accountability for outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex client-facing issues requiring technical insight.
  • Champion exceptional customer experience throughout the project lifecycle.
What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • 8–12 years of project management experience, with a focus on external, client-facing technical projects.
  • Strong technical background, including familiarity with Microsoft technologies (Windows, Office Suite).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project and other project management tools.
  • Experience delivering enterprise SaaS or CRM implementations, including integrations, data migration, and custom development.
  • Demonstrated experience managing project financials, including budgets, billable hours, and change orders.
  • Proven ability to lead technical teams and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer-first mindset.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with experience resolving complex technical and operational challenges.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated team player who can influence others and drive collaborative results.
Preferred:
  • PMP or similar Project Management certification.
  • Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365).
  • Experience with Association Management Systems (AMS) or similar platforms.
  • Background working with associations, nonprofits, or membership-based organizations.
