Senior Project Manager

Novi, MI (Humboldt Drive) Full time

We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Strategy and Continuous Improvement function, reporting to the Director – Strategy & Continuous Improvement.

This is a high-impact role responsible for scoping, planning and delivering multiple strategic projects aligned with Lineage’s business priorities across our Australian operations. You will work cross‑functionally with leaders across Operations, HR, Corporate teams and external partners to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within scope and budget and with sustainable outcomes.


Safety leadership and a strong continuous improvement mindset are critical to success in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Determine and define project scope and objectives that align to organizational strategy.
  • Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner.  May support in the management of third party vendors or suppliers, assigning deliverables and driving execution.
  • Program level project leadership or projects large to extra-large in scope.
  • Effectively balance multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously.
  • Develop project business case.
  • Track project costs in order to meet budget.
  • Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
  • Utilize and teach proprietary best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
  • Measure project performance while providing root cause analysis and recommendations to close gaps on areas for improvement.
  • Mentor and support in the development of other project managers.
  • Thought leader in the continuous improvement of the Project Management Office.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of project management or related experience
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • High level of learning agility
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
  • Preferable leadership experience
