Position Summary
The Senior Project Manager, Quality Programs & Initiatives is responsible for the direct planning, coordination, and execution of Global Quality projects across all L&W product lines. Operating from an internal customer perspective with a focus on external Quality improvement outcomes, this role takes direction from the project management office to complete assigned tasks and projects, providing consistent status updates and ensuring all assignments are executed on time and to expectation. This position carries full project management accountability with no direct reports, influencing outcomes through cross-functional team participation and structured project governance.
Essential Job Functions:
Project Planning & Execution
- Manages end-to-end project plans for assigned Quality Programs & Initiatives including Plan4Plan, milestones, dependency mapping, risk identification, and status reporting.
- Maintains detailed project trackers, RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), and status dashboards to provide accurate, up-to-date views of project health.
- Drives project meetings, prepares agendas, facilitates discussions, captures decisions, and publishes action item logs with clear owners and due dates.
- Identifies and removes project impediments by engaging the appropriate functional owners, escalating blockers through proper channels when needed.
- Manage resources and workstreams through cross-functional team members, coordinating efforts across Project Management, Central Quality and other departments without direct reporting authority.
Reporting & Data Management
- Designs, builds, and maintains Power BI dashboards that visualize Quality KPIs, project milestone completion rates, defect trends, and initiative progress across product lines.
- Develops and publishes Tableau reports for Quality program metrics, translating raw data from multiple ERP and quality systems into clear visual analytics.
- Architects and manages the Quality Programs SharePoint environment including project document libraries, cross-functional collaboration sites, standardized templates, and team notification workflows.
- Collects and consolidates quality data from Project Management, Central Quality and product teams; performs trend analysis and surfaces findings in recurring reporting packages.
- Prepares project status reports, presentation decks, and business review materials used in leadership meetings, ensuring data accuracy and consistent formatting.
- Establishes and enforces version control, document naming standards, and archiving practices within SharePoint to maintain a single source of truth for all project documentation.
Management Direction & Status Reporting
- Receives project assignments, priorities, and direction from management; clarifies scope and expectations at the outset of each assignment to ensure alignment before execution begins.
- Proactively provides management with regular, structured status updates on all active assignments including percent complete, upcoming milestones, risks, and any items requiring a decision or escalation.
- Responds promptly to management requests for information, ad hoc reports, or project support; reprioritizes workload as directed to accommodate shifting business needs.
- Maintains a running log of all active assignments and management-directed tasks, organized by priority and due date, and shares visibility into this log on a recurring basis.
- Flags obstacles, delays, or scope changes to management as soon as they are identified, providing a recommended course of action along with the issue.
- Closes out assignments formally by confirming deliverable acceptance with management and documenting outcomes, lessons learned, and any follow-on actions required.
Cross-Functional Coordination & Process Support
- Schedules and facilitate recurring cross-functional working sessions as needed with Project Management, Central Quality, and product teams; distributes pre-read materials and post-meeting summaries.
- Develops and maintains working knowledge of all L&W product lines, development lifecycles, and Quality processes to effectively coordinate project activities and identify interdependencies.
- Documents and updates standard operating procedures, process maps, and project playbooks for Quality initiatives and programs.
- Partners with customer-facing teams to gather requirements, track issue resolution, and ensure Quality-related commitments are reflected accurately in project plans.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- 5–8 years of project management experience; gaming, manufacturing, or regulated industry experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and workstreams, maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines in a demanding environment.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and driving project deliverables through influence without direct reporting authority.
- Direct experience building and maintaining reports and dashboards in Power BI and/or Tableau.
- Experience managing SharePoint environments including document libraries, team sites, and collaboration workflows.
- Strong organizational skills: able to independently manage competing priorities and problem-solve with minimal direction.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Technology & Tools
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite including excel, power point, teams and projects.
- Strong Microsoft SharePoint including site creation, document management, metadata tagging, and team collaboration workflows.
- Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau and dashboard development, data modeling, publishing interactive reports, and maintaining refresh schedules.
- Working knowledge of ERP tools and product release systems.
Project Management & Analytical Skills
- Ability to manage 10–20 active project tracks simultaneously with structured prioritization.
- Analytical thinking combined with strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Effective critical thinking skills: able to navigate ambiguity and escalate appropriately.
- Understanding of Quality Management principles and product lifecycle processes.
Interpersonal & Communication Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to convey complex project status clearly to varied audiences.
- Ability to build collaborative working relationships across departments and organizational levels, gaining alignment without direct authority.
- Highly organized with strong time management skills and a bias toward proactive communication.
- Comfortable operating in a demanding environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.

Work Conditions:
Our studio is located in Las Vegas, Nevada.
This role is a hybrid structure with 3 days a week on-site required.
