OVERVIEW
Movement Strategy is looking for a Senior Project Manager who will report into the Pod Lead on a high profile, non-profit account. We’re looking for someone with experience in this space along with high-volume social expertise. You will act as a strategic operational partner within the pod, helping steer account health, team performance, internal process and client success. You’ll guide day-to-day work while supporting the Pod Lead in setting vision, ensuring alignment across departments, and elevating the quality of our output. You will serve as the primary point of contact for client communications and project coordination.
Above all, your strongest skill should be problem-solving. You may not always have immediate answers, but you’re the first to raise your hand, identify challenges, and develop solutions to get the job done.

KEY FOCUS AREAS
- Project Management:
- Support the Pod Lead to uphold the strategic vision, and work in a collaborative and creative manner.
- Serve as an extension of the Pod Lead in reinforcing process, team norms, and cross-functional collaboration.
- You will manage multiple projects within the business unit via Asana, leading internal cross-functional teams throughout project lifecycles, including: social content, campaign development, influencer strategies, event activations, etc. You’ll be responsible for running internal team-status and always knowing where we stand with each project.
- Collaborates with internal teams (creative, production, media planning) to develop and execute social-first creative content and campaigns.
- Creating and seeing timelines through is second nature for you, and you’ll continuously look to see where the team can improve in achieving each step in a timely/realistic manner.
- Productivity: in addition to timelines, you’ll be tasked to execute against a scope of work and budget for your client projects and retainers. Both will require detailed collaboration with other department leads to ensure accuracy in resources and time. Once work is complete, you’ll work with the Account team to report on hours/time spent on each project.
- Working in collaboration with resource management on budgeting resources and developing staffing plans for projects and client-retainers.
- Producing necessary contracts and paperwork for partner-vendors and working with finance/operations to ensure payment is processed within the proper budgets
- Able to identify bottlenecks and provide solutions across departments
- Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships within day-to-day communication and meetings.
- Participate in social-centric recommendations that will achieve client goals and business objectives to drive campaigns effectively.
- Escalate issues thoughtfully and propose solutions before they become challenges.
- Help maintain account health by anticipating client needs and contributing to long-term planning.
- Model strong decision-making and problem-solving to cultivate a high-performing pod environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5-8 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or advertising.
- Background working with non-profit organizations is a strong preference.
- Comfort navigating sensitive/civic or purpose-driven spaces.
- Experience with project management software such as Asana, Airtable, or similar.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of advertising principles, marketing strategies, and social-first content development.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and scope-of-work management.
- Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail and problem-solving.
- Familiarity with social-digital platforms, emerging tech, influencer management, and content production.

SALARY & COMPENSATION
In compliance with local and state law, we are disclosing the compensation for roles that will be performed in New York City, Colorado, and California. The range listed is just one component of Movement Strategy’s total compensation package for employees. Individual compensation varies based on location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards.
A successful applicant’s actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, skill sets, years of relevant experience, qualifications, and certifications or other professional licenses held. Movement Strategy prides itself on providing competitive salaries and actively works to ensure there is pay equity across the company.
Pay Range: $80 - $90 hourly
