Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead major construction engineering initiatives and help grow our expanding PMCM practice in the Northeast region. This is a senior leadership opportunity for a results-driven professional who thrives on delivering complex infrastructure projects while developing client relationships and driving business growth.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

The Opportunity:

As a key leader within TYLin’s PMCM group, you will:

  • Lead and manage one or more construction management and inspection projects

  • Serve as Resident Engineer on local infrastructure projects

  • Oversee multi-million-dollar construction contracts involving bridges and structural systems

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to secure new PMCM contracts across New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware

  • Build and strengthen relationships with agencies and key clients

  • Identify, recruit, and mentor high-performing PMCM professionals

  • Position TYLin as a prime consultant or strategic partner for major CM engagements

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to prepare compelling RFP and SOQ responses

  • Ensure compliance with QA/QC protocols, safety standards, and agency requirements

  • Coordinate closely with owners, contractors, utilities, and stakeholders

What We’re Looking For:

We are seeking a proven infrastructure leader with:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in New Jersey and/or NICET IV (required)

  • 15+ years of construction management experience, particularly on bridge and structural projects

  • Demonstrated success managing multi-million-dollar public infrastructure contracts

  • Experience with agencies such as NJDOT, NJ Turnpike Authority, NJ Transit, and PANYNJ (strongly preferred)

  • Proven ability to lead and manage multidisciplinary teams including PMs, Resident Engineers, Office Engineers, and Inspectors

  • Strong business development acumen and client relationship skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

  • A track record of leadership, performance, and accountability

Additional Information

TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $153,900 - $200,000 annually for this position and local market.
