We are seeking a Senior Project Manager / Associate, to join our Program Performance team in Darwin, working alongside a group of highly skilled specialists. In this key role within our Advisory division, you’ll help strengthen and grow our capability in Darwin, while making a real impact across a range of projects. You’ll be a trusted partner to a diverse range of clients across Northern Territory and develop a deep understanding of their challenges to co-create innovative solutions that help shape the future. You also have the opportunity to work across key sectors including Defence, Social Infrastructure, Transport, Energy and Water.

What will you do?  

  • You will join our Program Performance business where you’ll support our clients and manage relationships with consultants, contractors and subcontractors.

  • Deliver complex projects and programs ensuring they meet client expectations, timelines, and specifications.

  • Manage change, quality, health, safety and risk elements 

  • Oversee multiple concurrent projects across the entire life cycle, including design management, tendering, contract administration, financial management, project scheduling and risk management. 

  • Lead multidisciplinary teams – coordinating specialists to deliver high-impact results.

  • Identify new business opportunities and contribute to our ongoing growth and client success.

What will you bring? 

  • A sound understanding of project management, and a passion for projects that make a difference to our world 

  • Tertiary qualifications in project management, engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field.

  • A strong network of industry relationships and connections, with the ability to identify and help secure new opportunities.

  • Extensive client-side experience across a variety of sectors.

  • Proven ability to engage with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, managing competing priorities effectively.

  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and solutions-focused approach.

  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

  • For Defence projects you must be an Australian resident and eligible for security clearance as determined by the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA). website https://www1.defence.gov.au/security/clearances
