Boeing Global Services (BGS) International Government and Defense organization is seeking an experienced Senior Project Management Specialist to join the team in Ridley Park, PA.

In this role the individual will interact with a wide variety of organizations and business units such as the UK Ministry of Defense, the UK Royal Air Force, Boeing Defense UK (BDUK), BGS Government Training Engineering (GTE), Boeing Defense Space and Security (BDS), Boeing Global Sales and Marketing (GS&M), and foreign and domestic suppliers.

Position Responsibilities:

• Leads others and directs all phases of assigned cross-organizational or business unit projects demonstrating proficiency in all project management areas in accordance with accepted project management standards in the industry (e.g., PMI, Project Management Body of Knowledge [PMBOK], ANSI, and ISO standards)
• Manages large scale complex projects in support of the business unit’s (i.e., BCA, BDS, SSG) goals and objectives
• Span of control extends across multiple organizations
• Oversight, and management responsibility (including performance management & reporting) for a portfolio of medium to large projects in support of the business unit’s (i.e.,BCA, BDS, SSG) goals and objectives
• Identifies key stakeholder project specific objectives and requirements
• Ensures assigned individuals are executing the identified and assigned tasks and providing appropriate tracking and reporting per plan
• Authorizes baseline plans and revisions. Provides in-depth analysis of project culminating with lessons learned and historical reports for incorporation into future project plans
• Provides assessment of team performance to appropriate management.
• Consults with executive leadership and integrates organizational strategy and company initiatives to develop project deliverables

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 3+ years’ experience with Program / Project management
• 3+ years; experience in Program Management with P&L responsibility
• 3+ years’ experience with Earned Value Management or similar cost and schedule accounting means
• Experience working with and/or managing contractors, subcontractors or suppliers
• Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally up to 10% of the time

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Experience with Program Management Best Practices
• Experience working with international customers
• Experience with military or commercial aviation training

Summary pay range: $128,650 - $171,350
