As Lead Product Planner you will be in-charge of planning a large subsea project. The planner will be accountable for the schedule quality and project on-time delivery. The position reports to the Services Staff Director

As a Senior Project Management Specialist , you will be responsible for:

Identification, reporting, and monitoring of SP & S Rental capex investments.  The role shall be the primary owner of SP & S Rental capex projects and lead specific, significant capex projects from receipt of equipment list through to final asset capitalization and handover to region.

  • SP & S focal point for SP & S Rental Capex reporting, monitoring, and cost verification.
  • Aligning future capex project demand with existing assets to minimize investment requirements
  • Leading the execution of specific significant SP & S Rental Capex investments from upfront tender phase investment cost modelling, through to procurement and delivery of new assets to the business
  • Guide and support regional capex and tooling planning activities
  • Secure detail and manage Tree and Connection tooling demand schedules
  • Produce asset utilization and capex spend, metrics and reports
  • Primary contact to verify tooling availability associated with connection and tree rental assets
  • Monitoring SP & S project wins and aligning capex requirements
  • Leading cost out& improvement initiatives within the Rental COE
  • Collaborating with SP & S manufacturing test equipment teams to optimize asset usage

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor / Master's degree or relevant experience.

  • Have experience working within planning, ideally in the oil and gas/subsea industry or a related large-scale mechanical manufacturing or controls equipment environment.

  • Have additional knowledge of Oracle MRP

  • Have ability to understand the status of a project and link the schedule to the reality of the execution.

  • Have ability to quickly understand the risks and opportunities in the schedule and identify and drive appropriate actions.

  • Have strong expertise in planning a large project and using the Primavera P6 planning tool - added advantage

  • Have high energy and motivation to deliver, making a difference in the position

  • Have strong leadership and excellent interpersonal skills are required to collaborate with a team of planners and interact with a large panel of individuals who will contribute to the project's performance.

  • Have a permanent work permit in UK
