JOB DESCRIPTION - SENIOR PROJECT LEAD
Position Summary
As a Senior Project Lead at JLL, you will be responsible for overseeing complex, high-value interior fitout projects and leading strategic initiatives from conception to completion. The successful candidate will manage multiple large-scale commercial interior projects simultaneously, mentor project teams, drive business development activities, and ensure delivery excellence while maintaining JLL's industry-leading standards in commercial real estate services.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
Lead and manage large-scale, complex interior fitout projects across multiple commercial sectors including corporate headquarters, retail flagship stores, hospitality, healthcare, and mixed-use developments
Develop and execute strategic project delivery frameworks and methodologies
Oversee project portfolios with values exceeding established thresholds
Drive innovation in project delivery methods and technology implementation
Establish and monitor key performance indicators across multiple concurrent projects
Team Leadership
Lead and develop high-performing project management teams across multiple projects
Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to Project Leads and junior staff
Drive talent development initiatives and succession planning within the project management function
Foster collaborative relationships across JLL's global project management network
Champion best practices and knowledge sharing across the organization
Client & Stakeholder Management
Serve as senior client advisor for strategic accounts and high-profile projects
Lead proposal development and client presentations for major opportunities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing and prospective client relationships
Contribute to thought leadership and market intelligence initiatives
Quality & Compliance
Implement advanced risk management strategies and mitigation protocols
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in project delivery processes
Ensure compliance with international standards and regional regulations
Lead crisis management and recovery planning for complex project challenges
Establish quality assurance frameworks and performance benchmarking
Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture,Interior Design or construction management
Professional certifications (PMP, LEED AP, or equivalent) preferred
Experience
15+ years of proven experience in interior fitout project management with minimum 5 years in senior leadership roles
Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering projects valued at $5M+ USD
Experience managing international or multi-regional project portfolios
Proven success in client relationship management and business development
Experience with complex stakeholder management including C-suite executives
Knowledge of MEP systems integration in interior environments
Familiarity with sustainable design practices and green building standards
Technical Skills
Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Primavera, or similar)
Knowledge of design software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp)
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building systems
Expertise in cost estimation and budget management
Knowledge of relevant building codes and regulations

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities with capacity to present to diverse audiences
Project Management: Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams and influence stakeholders at all levels

Negotiation: Strong negotiation skills for vendor management and conflict resolution
Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to project documentation and quality control
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in related field
Experience with international projects or multi-site rollouts
Knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes
Familiarity with local approval processes
Working Conditions
May require travel to various project locations
Occasionally required to work outside normal business hours to accommodate project schedules
