About the job
Our Engineering & Supply team in Søborg is growing, and we are looking for a Project Engineer to join our project organization working with evaporation and zero liquid discharge (ZLD) systems.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering mechanical engineering tasks for medium- to high-complexity projects and for contributing to the development of our mechanical engineering discipline. You will work closely with project managers, specialists, and customers to ensure high-quality technical solutions.
Your key tasks will be to:
Mechanical design & documentation
Engineer products and solutions for assigned projects.
Prepare technical specifications and data sheets for mechanical equipment (pressure vessels, pumps, structural skids, piping, and process equipment).
Review and/or perform strength calculations, primarily for pressure vessels (including FEA when applicable).
Review vendor documentation and drawings.
Verification & compliance
Secure engineering verification according to internal workflows.
Ensure compliance with client requirements in a cost-efficient way.
Technical development & collaboration
Contribute to improving existing technical solutions and developing new ones to strengthen our competitive position.
Participate in project meetings and align project requirements with the project manager.
Participate in customer meetings, inspections, testing and troubleshooting of equipment deliveries.

What you know
Required qualifications
Strong mechanical or chemical engineering background with 5-10 years of experience.
Experience in designing static equipment and understanding mechanical systems or pressure equipment manufacturing.
Knowledge of international pressure vessel design standards (e.g., ASME, EN).
General knowledge of relevant industry standards and best practices (EN, ISO, ASME, ASTM, ANSI, API).
Ability to work with technical specifications, design documents and vendor information.
Knowledge of CE marking & PED.
Nice to have
Experience with design tools such as PV Elite or CAESAR.
Experience in evaporation or zero liquid discharge projects.
Knowledge about welding and quality inspections.
