This Role is part of PDS-Investors Team, and selected candidates will be working on project management consultancy or construction management projects managed by Cushman & Wakefield.

About the Role:

The Lead Electrical Engineer (PMC) is responsible for overseeing all electrical engineering aspects of the project, from design review through execution, testing, and commissioning. The role ensures electrical systems are delivered as per design specifications, quality standards, timelines, and safety requirements while coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and approve electrical designs, drawings, and specifications (HT/LT systems, substations, DG, UPS, lighting, earthing, ELV systems).
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards (IS, IEC, NBC), and client requirements.
  • Monitor and supervise on-site electrical works for adherence to approved drawings and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and architectural teams to avoid clashes and ensure smooth execution.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors for technical approvals and issue resolution.
  • Implement and monitor QA/QC procedures for all electrical installations.
  • Track project progress, review schedules, and ensure timely completion of electrical milestones.
  • Review BOQs, validate contractor RA bills, and manage variations/change orders.
  • Oversee testing, commissioning, and energization of all electrical systems.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards, statutory regulations, and electrical compliance norms.

About You:

  • Strong technical expertise in electrical systems (HT/LT, power distribution, ELV, lighting)
  • Proficiency in design review and site execution
  • Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
  • Knowledge of relevant standards (IS, IEC, NBC, IEEE)
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project tools
