The Change and Enablement Team within WPP Open is a critical strategic function, uniquely bringing together two specialist areas: Product Enablement and Workspace Enablement. This integrated team is dedicated to delivering consistent, high-impact change and learning experiences across all facets of WPP Open. We serve as the vital bridge between Professional Services product roadmap delivery and end-user enablement/adoption, ensuring that every new rollout, platform enhancement, and process improvement is not only understood but also enthusiastically embraced and sustained across our diverse agencies and client teams, on time and with measurable impact. 

The Opportunity:  
We are seeking an exceptional and visionary Senior Programme Manager, to lead this pivotal Change and Enablement team. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape how our global organization leverages technology, adopts new methodologies, and drives sustained behavioural change. You will be instrumental in maximizing the value derived from our platforms and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across WPP. 

Role Summary:  
The Senior Programme Manager, will be responsible for leading the Change and Enablement team, driving strategic initiatives to accelerate platform adoption, enhance user proficiency, and embed new ways of working across WPP Open. This leader will define and execute the enablement strategy, ensuring successful digital transformation and continuous value realization from our technology investments. 

What you'll be doing:

  • Strategic Leadership: Lead and manage the Change and Enablement team, overseeing both Product Enablement and Workspace Enablement functions.  
  • Bridge Building: Act as the critical bridge between Professional Services product roadmap delivery and end-user enablement/adoption, ensuring every rollout is fully understood, embraced, and sustained across agencies and client teams on time. 
  • Performance Measurement: Define and rigorously track KPIs and value-based performance metrics across the entire end-to-end platform experience to assess efficiency, adoption, and overall business impact.  
  • Behavioral Change Impact: Monitor and precisely measure the impact of behavioural change programs, including shifts in mindset, adoption of new ways of working, and cultural alignment throughout the organization.  
  • Adoption & Usage Growth: Drive measurable increases in platform adoption and sustained usage across global teams, leveraging data-led insights and establishing continuous feedback loops to inform strategies.  
  • User Journey Optimization: Identify and proactively reduce friction points across the onboarding customer journey to significantly accelerate time to proficiency and continuously improve onboarding and enablement experiences.  
  • Risk & Compliance: Establish and maintain robust global risk and compliance frameworks to effectively monitor, safeguard, and future-proof business-critical systems and processes.  
  • Value Quantification: Partner strategically with executive sponsors, finance, and operations teams to quantify business value, identify and drive efficiencies, and inform crucial reinvestment strategies.  
  • Continuous Improvement: Champion and foster a culture of continuous measurement and optimization to maximize the Return on Investment (ROI) from both platform development and behavioural transformation initiatives. 

What you'll need:

  • 12+ years leading enterprise digital transformation, preferably within global, matrixed organizations. 
  • Deep expertise inservice design,organisational transformation, andbehavioural change programs. 
  • Demonstrated success deliveringlarge-scale platform rolloutsacross diverse business and cultural environments. 
  • Proficient inprocess standardization,interoperability frameworks, and compliance-aligned design. 
  • Experience implementingemployee-centric platformsthat blend technology, process, and change management. 
  • Skilled in leading through influence, withstrong stakeholder managementacross IT, HR, Product, and senior leadership teams. 
  • Excellentcollaboration skills—working closely withcross-functional teams(e.g., IT, HR, Product, Finance) to design, build, and optimize systems, processes, and user experiences. 
  • Strong business acumen and ability toquantify value, define KPIs, and drive continuous performance improvement.
