Airbnb

Senior Program Manager, Insights & Adoption

United States Full Time

Airbnb was born in 2007 when two hosts welcomed three guests to their San Francisco home, and has since grown to over 5 million hosts who have welcomed over 2 billion guest arrivals in almost every country across the globe. Every day, hosts offer unique stays and experiences that make it possible for guests to connect with communities in a more authentic way.

The Community You Will Join:

Airbnb's commitment to embracing 21st Century values propels us to take a groundbreaking approach to government regulation. Instead of resisting or evading regulations, we actively collaborate with the community stakeholders to find innovative solutions. We are seeking a dynamic and visionary teammate who can harness the power of technology to scale this approach, not just for our company, but as a model for the entire tech industry.

The Difference You Will Make:

As a Senior Manager within the Policy team, you will play a pivotal role in scaling our global efforts. Joining the Policy Products team, you will be instrumental in shaping our policy conversations as we navigate over 180,000 jurisdictions worldwide.

A Typical Day:

This role brings Airbnb Policy’s core tech programs — the City Portal, our digital marketing suite, and Policy’s proprietary AI platform — from the background to the center of campaign work. The Go-to-Market Lead ensures these flagship products are not just built and resourced, but actively used by local and regional campaign teams as force multipliers in their day-to-day strategies.

They’ll serve as the bridge between program manager, policy products manager,  technical experts (BizTech and E&I), and the campaign org, helping translate complex tools and data into clear value for the field. This includes making sure teams know where to look and what to act on — both now through hands-on guidance and, over time, through automated systems we’re building.

This role offers a unique blend of strategic leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and the opportunity to make a substantial impact on Airbnb's global policy efforts. If you are a forward-thinking, results-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, join us in shaping the future of policy and technology.

Key Responsibilities

Go-to-Market Strategy & Adoption

  • Serve as the internal “go-to-market” lead for the City Portal, our digital marketing suite, and Policy’s proprietary AI platform.
  • Pitch, onboard, and drive adoption of these products by campaign and local teams — mindful that many teams won’t know they need them yet.
  • Develop tailored engagement plans and value propositions that connect each tool to campaign outcomes.
  • Track and report adoption metrics (e.g., % of teams actively using tools, time saved, campaigns influenced).

Insights & Analytics Integration

  • Bring data and insights from our tech programs into campaign decision-making — turning information into focus and foresight.
  • Collaborate with BizTech and E&I to improve usability and visualization of automated insights as they mature.
  • Package intelligence into digestible formats — e.g., “3 places to watch this month” or “signals that warrant outreach this week.”

Field Integration & Partnership

  • Partner closely with regional Strategic Engagement and Policy Media leads to make sure teams are executing their BINGO — multiple touches across multiple channels — in ways that leverage these tech tools.
  • Help campaign teams integrate City Portal, digital marketing, and AI outputs into their regular workflows and strategic plans.
  • Spend significant time with field teams (virtually and in-person) to identify friction points, share use cases, and refine messaging around the value of these programs.

Feedback Loop & Coordination

  • Act as the structured strategic feedback channel between campaign teams and the program managers, BizTech, and the Digital Marketing group.
  • Capture qualitative insights from the field about how City Portal, digital marketing, and AI are influencing campaign strategy, not feature-level bugs or training needs.
  • Partner with the CRM & Political Intelligence team when technical or training-related feedback surfaces, ensuring smooth handoff rather than duplication.
  • Provide insights and narrative feedback to leadership — stories, data points, and lessons that demonstrate how adoption of these tools is driving policy impact.

Your Expertise:

  • 10+ years of experience in public policy, go-to-market/marketing experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in marketing insights ideally in a fast-paced and complex environment, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within scope.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across diverse functions and teams, bridging the gap between functions that seem to speak different work languages, and fostering productive partnerships to drive alignment and achieve shared goals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven mindset to inform decision-making and optimize strategies.
  • Experience navigating and working within regulatory or policy frameworks is highly desirable, along with an understanding of the unique challenges and considerations involved in policy development and implementation.
  • Experience working with a large number of cross-functional teams and leading project teams through influence and accountability.
  • Personal integrity that reflects Airbnb’s core values and commitment to diversity and belonging.
  • You have a passion for Airbnb and the mission of the company.
