Samsung TV Plus is an industry-leading FAST (free ad-supported TV) and VOD (video-on-demand) service reaching +30 countries and millions of devices globally across TV and mobile. One of the first FAST platforms with more than 630M active devices, Samsung TV Plus now offers more than 3,000 channels globally, along with thousands of shows and movies on-demand.

Position Summary

The Samsung TV Plus team is seeking a Senior Program Manager to join the Global PMO and lead strategic initiatives across Content Planning & Operations, Business Development, Product, and Data Analytics teams. This role will drive execution of high-impact projects including content launches, interactive features, software releases, and cross-functional business priorities. The ideal candidate will partner with leadership across US operations, Samsung HQ, and international regions, help establish PMO best practices and frameworks, and manage end-to-end content and operational programs that directly support Samsung TV Plus’s growth as a leading FAST platform reaching 100+ million monthly active users across 3,000+ global channels.

Role and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end execution of complex projects – including content launches and live events – from scoping through delivery, managing timelines at milestone and task level, dependencies, and stakeholder communication across global teams
  • Help build and implement scalable PMO frameworks, processes, and best practices to improve project deliver and organizational effectiveness across content and operational workstreams
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently across different workstreams, identifying and resolving dependencies while keeping the overall schedule on track
  • Facilitate strategic planning sessions with functional leads (content strategy, product, international regions) to identify initiatives requiring PMO support and develop content and operational roadmaps
  • Own regular stakeholder reporting including status updates, content and program dashboards, risk management, and executive communications across team members and cross-functional partners
  • Partner with data teams to define key metrics, continuously analyze results, and translate insights into actionable recommendations for content, project and business strategy

Experience Requirements

  • 10+ years program management experience leading large, complex technical projects or content launches in media or technology companies
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or relevant certifications (PMP, Agile Certified Practitioner) highly desirable
  • Experience in production management within media or streaming environments would be an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead content launches, software development, and product launches from conception to delivery
  • Proficiency in project management tools including Jira, Confluence, and Monday, plus experience with data analysis platforms like Tableau or Power BI
  • Proven track record leading cross-functional programs with significant budgets and resources across global, matrixed organizations including content and programming teams
  • Experience with digital media or streaming platforms highly desirable
  • Highly organized with ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision, and manage multiple projects with competing priorities
  • Strong analytical skills combining quantitative and qualitative analysis to drive business decisions under ambiguity
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to context-shift between executive strategy discussions and cross-functional team coordination

Skills and Qualifications

Compensation for this role for a candidate based in Colorado is expected to be between $150,000 and $180,000, but may be higher or lower in other regions due to geographic differentials in the labor market.  Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
