The ideal candidate will design and execute initiatives that enhance employee engagement and workplace experiences - locally and globally. In this role, you’ll plan and manage events, develop culture programs, and ensure employees—regardless of location—feel inspired, included, and supported. The ideal candidate is innovative, impact-driven, and thrives on creating meaningful experiences. HubSpot is seeking a passionate Senior Program Manager to design and execute programs that enhance our employee experience across our North America offices and remote environments. This role will have peers in LATAM, EMEA & JAPAC. 

This role reports to the Experience & Inclusion Manager in Dublin, Ireland.

Core aspects of role:

  • Oversee a large remote employee region plus offices Cambridge, Toronto and San Francisco events and culture initiatives, which will involve event consulting and support with employee volunteers.
  • Design and deliver global employee experiences.  A background in virtual events and strong program management skills to develop new ideas into global initiatives are required.
  • Identify and experiment with innovative approaches to help HubSpot's culture thrive in a hybrid work environment and as our business scales, including leading our in-office and remote volunteer culture champions to create connection experiences across the region. 

In this role, you will:

  • Oversee an exceptional office experience for HubSpot Cambridge, Toronto and San Francisco in partnership with our global culture champions communities to create similar experiences in other office locations.
  • Empower our employees to create meaningful connections with their coworkers, both on their own teams and across the global organization
  • Create surprise and delight moments across the employee lifecycle that lift up our employees and spark joy in their day
  • Act as the voice of HubSpot culture across our North America locations, maintaining a pulse on employee sentiment and current events, localizing global initiatives, and serving as a localization consultant to leadership and our partners across the business
  • Drive alignment, transparency, and engagement across North America both in office and remote, with personalized and targeted communications
  • Elevate existing initiatives and introduce new ones to support culture, Belonging, and Sustainability at HubSpot, 
  • Solicit and feature a range of diverse voices in your programming and communications, and lead with inclusion so that every employee feels a sense of belonging at HubSpot, no matter their background or identity
  • Follow project management best practices to deliver projects on time, on budget, and within deadlines
  • Seek out and experiment with innovative ways including using AI to help HubSpot evolve our culture to thrive in a hybrid working environment and as we scale our business
  • Lead our employee volunteers to drive culture initiatives in our hybrid landscape
  • Lead our volunteer community of global culture champions in the North American region to create and execute on global experience programs to bring our HubSpot culture to life for our  employees globally
  • Collaborate extensively with Internal Communications, Employer Brand, Sustainability, Recruitment, HR, Benefits, Learning & Development, Management & Leadership Development, Facilities, IT, and local leadership to deliver a world-class employee experience

Our ideal candidate:

  • 5+ years of experience in culture, employee engagement, workplace experience, or event planning roles, managing programs and projects preferably within a technology company.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to execute multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast paced environment
  • Experience managing both in-person and virtual events, with strong logistical and budget management capabilities.
  • Plan and execute engaging company-wide events, including team-building activities, cultural celebrations, offsites and senior leadership visits.
  • Oversee workplace experience strategies to create an inviting, inspiring, productive and engaging office environment.
  • Implement programs that enhance workplace experience, including food services, wellness initiatives, and community-building activities.
  • Can build, drive and scale programs, initiatives, and events that align with business needs and analyze data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and overall efficacy of culture programs
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with stakeholder and leadership across the business to drive culture initiatives.
  • Is an independent self-starter, innovative, committed, and willing to go the extra mile to ensure a seamless experience for employees
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to represent culture internally both in North America and globally 
  • Knowledge of remote work best practices and strategies for hybrid workforce engagement
  • Creative problem-solving mindset and ability to adapt to an evolving workplace landscape.

  • Has experience managing third-party vendors and negotiating contracts
  • Stay informed on emerging trends in workplace experience and the evolving nature of work and collaborate with  leadership to iterate on culture and experience programs for our hybrid employee body.

Pay & Benefits

The cash compensation below includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are tailored to your skills, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.

Annual Cash Compensation Range:
$90,400$135,600 USD
