Raytheon’s REL team is looking for a Senior Program Cost and Schedule Controls Analyst. In this multi-functional finance role will be responsible for cost control, budgets, EACs, and other program disciplines within Program Finance as well as working across functional teams.
Your role as the Finance Business Partner will focus on delivering accurate, in-depth financial analysis across multiple programs, developing and evaluating cost data, and supporting both management and program teams to ensure finance remains central to business decision‑making. You will report to the Raytheon Emirates Finance Lead based in the United Arab Emirates.
In this position, you will apply strong analytical and collaborative skills to partner with cross‑functional teams and key IPT stakeholders—including Program Management, Operations, Contracts, Engineering, and Business Development—providing insights and guidance that enable leadership to make informed, strategic decisions.
This onsite role will be based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab of Emirates.
Traveling to multiple sites may be required.
Key Tasks for Success of the Team
- Interpret and communicate the connection between program performance and financial outcomes, offering insights that support business leaders and key stakeholders in shaping decisions and overall strategy.
- Proactively seek innovative approaches, leverage information more effectively, and provide clear, actionable recommendations based on your analysis.
What You Will Do
- Contribute to proposal pricing efforts and Cost Volume preparation by supporting all stages of the proposal lifecycle—from initial development through final negotiations.
- Research and evaluate historical data to address day‑to‑day program inquiries and inform upcoming proposal work.
- Perform financial analysis, research, budgeting, and forecasting to support overall business planning.
- Identify risks and opportunities, providing early visibility into potential issues.
- Compile and consolidate financial information for recurring reviews, including weekly bookings, sales, profit and cash updates, Risk & Opportunity sessions, Outlook, monthly forecast reviews, staffing plans, and internal leadership meetings.
- Support development of the Annual Operating Plan and Long‑Range (5‑year) Plan.
- Work closely with Finance Managers to ensure timely and accurate updates within the forecasting system.
- Support monthly program forecasting and the Quarterly Estimate at Completion (EAC) process, offering recommendations based on recent performance trends.
- Build and utilize financial models to assess the impact of current program performance data.
- Conduct ad‑hoc analyses, data integrity reviews, and validations related to program financials.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 5+ years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3+ years’ experience.
- Experience working with SAP and Hyperion Planning / Hyperion Financial Management.
- Skilled at translating complex financial data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations that support strategic business objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to proactively drive solutions to critical business challenges and key issues.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel to multiple sites as needed.
