Role Overview

The Senior Professional Services Consultant is responsible for discovering, designing, consulting, and implementing Druva solutions for both new and existing customers. This role ensures best practices are followed throughout the full implementation lifecycle while driving strong customer outcomes.

The position also includes providing technical expertise across Druva’s Data Security and Disaster Recovery services, conducting cyber simulations and security assessments, assisting with ransomware and disaster recovery strategies, developing recovery playbooks and runbooks, and integrating SIEM/SOAR solutions.

As a key member of the PS team, this role plays a critical part in driving customer success. The ideal candidate is a dynamic and experienced professional with a strong blend of technical depth and soft skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Discover, design, deploy, and optimize Druva solutions aligned to customer requirements.
  • Lead end to end product deployments and configurations for all lines of business in Druva related to Enterprise Workloads, End User Protection, SaaS Applications and Ransomware and Disaster Recovery practices
  • Conduct cyber simulation exercises and security assessments to evaluate customer readiness and identify security gaps.
  • Perform penetration testing and risk assessments.
  • Assist in developing Incident Response Plans, Recovery Playbooks, and Cyber Recovery strategies.
  • Implement and configure SIEM/SOAR integrations between customer and Druva environments.
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, milestones, and success criteria.
  • Provide best-practice consultation to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Communicate project status and drive accountability with key stakeholders.
  • Manage customer relationships and conduct product adoption and resiliency health assessments.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on customer requirements and product enhancements.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years in customer-facing technical roles, including 5+ years in consulting.
  • Leading and assisting the team and driving large customer implementation across all customers for Enterprise/Cloud Workloads, End User protection, SaaS Applications, Ransomware Recovery, Disaster Recovery practices
  • Experience leading large-scale implementations in Cloud Native, Ransomware Recovery, and Disaster Recovery domains.
  • Strong expertise in Windows, Linux, and macOS operating systems.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, M365 & Google Workspace) and storage technologies (SAN/NAS).
  • Solid networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, bandwidth management, firewalls).
  • Experience conducting cyber simulations, penetration testing, and risk assessments.
  • Hands-on experience creating IR playbooks, runbooks, and managing cyber recovery scenarios.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python).
  • Exposure to APIs and SaaS architectures.
  • Strong consultative engagement skills and executive-level communication.
  • Results-driven with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and drive customer engagement.

Technical Requirements

  • Strong expertise in enterprise backup technologies.
  • Experience administering virtual infrastructure.
  • Backup and recovery across File, NAS, MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SAP HANA, AHV, VMware, EC2, Azure VM, VMC, Nutanix, Endpoints, M365, SFDC, Google Workspace, Entra ID etc
  • Working knowledge of AWS and Azure services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, Azure VMs, Blob Storage, Azure Files, Azure SQL, Entra ID).
  • Hands-on experience conducting cyber simulation exercises and vulnerability assessments.
  • Knowledge of SIEM/SOAR tools and ransomware recovery best practices.
  • Familiarity with Blue Team operations.
  • Understanding of project management methodologies.
  • Understanding of SaaS applications such as M365, Google Workspace, Salesforce etc.
  • Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLAN, DNS, switches, firewalls, routers).
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python) with exposure to API’s
  • Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or Security+ preferred.
