WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
This role sits within Nike’s Innovation Global Football Footwear Testing team at WHQ. You’ll partner closely with Innovation Product Creation teams and collaborate with athletes to capture insights that shape the future of football footwear. Reporting into the testing function, you’ll be the go-to expert for performance validation.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Nike is seeking a seasoned product testing analyst with a passion for sport and innovation. This individual thrives in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple projects while building strong relationships with testers and cross-functional partners. They bring expertise in perception studies, data analysis, and reporting, paired with an ability to translate athlete feedback into actionable insights. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and confident presenting findings that influence product decisions.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Product Development, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a professional environment; footwear, product testing, development, or related fields preferred
- Strong analytical skills with experience in perception studies and consumer insights
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with statistical analysis tools
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You’ll lead the end-to-end testing process for innovative Global Football footwear—from planning and recruiting testers to running tests, analyzing data, and delivering reports. Your insights will help shape materials, components, and construction choices to meet performance, fit, and durability goals.
Core Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of product testing, including planning, execution, and reporting
- Recruit and maintain relationships with testers and athletes
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends and performance gaps
- Present findings and recommendations to Innovation Product Creation teams
- Lead feedback sessions to capture athlete insights and specify fit, performance, and durability issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to influence product decisions
- Travel up to 10% domestically and internationally to support testing initiatives
