Detailed Responsibilities
- Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for Maxis's managed security portfolio, aligning with overall Enterprise B2B objectives and Maxis's strategic direction..
- Lead the end-to-end Go-to-Market (GTM) planning and execution for new managed security products and features, working closely with Sales, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams to ensure successful launches.
- Conduct thorough market research, competitor analysis, and customer needs assessments to identify new opportunities, validate product concepts, and inform product development decisions.
- Translate market requirements and business needs into detailed product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for engineering and development teams, ensuring clarity and feasibility.
- Manage the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and conceptualisation through development, launch, growth, and eventual end-of-life, ensuring optimal product performance and market fit.
- Collaborate with technical teams (e.g., engineering, architecture, operations) to ensure the feasibility, scalability, and security of product solutions, acting as the bridge between business and technical stakeholders.
- Develop compelling product positioning, messaging, and sales enablement materials (e.g., battle cards, presentations, FAQs) to support the sales force and drive product adoption.
- Monitor key product performance metrics, analyse market trends, and gather customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and future product enhancements.
- Act as a subject matter expert for managed security, providing insights and guidance to internal teams, external partners, and key stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and Maxis's internal security policies and frameworks.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven product management experience, with a significant focus on security products or managed security services.
- Demonstrable experience in developing and executing Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies for B2B technology products.
- Strong understanding of the cybersecurity landscape, including common threats, technologies (e.g., SIEM, EDR, Firewall, IAM, Cloud Security), and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, CCSP).
- Experience with cloud security offerings (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP security services).
- Experience working in a telecommunications or managed services provider environment.
- Master's degree or equivalent advanced qualification.
