Reporting to the EM Product Specialist

  • You partner with leaders across the CBA to activate the CBA Product Model where it matters most.
  • You orchestrate across Domains, remove friction, and build reusable patterns that help modern product management scale across CBA - building tomorrow's bank, today.

Do work that matters

We partner with leaders across the Group to activate the CBA Product Model — shaping clearer product boundaries, decision-making, team interfaces and product operating rhythms so teams can focus on outcomes and create better customer experiences in ways that work for CBA.

Working closely with business and technology teams, you will help embed the model in real environments — clarifying accountabilities, strengthening prioritisation, establishing effective product cadences, improving cross-functional product development and reinforcing product-led ways of working.

The opportunity now is to deepen and scale this work. You will help land the next phase of rollout in a way that is practical, credible and durable — balancing strategic intent with the realities of teams, leadership, delivery commitments and risk settings.

See yourself in our team

We're looking for a Senior Manager who combines product operating model expertise with hands-on execution. You'll work closely with the hiring leader and senior leaders across CBA to land the phased rollout of the CBA Product Model.

You'll translate model principles into reality - sequencing the rollout, aligning leaders on target state, identifying interdependencies, and keeping the work moving across multiple fronts. You'll be in the detail where needed, facilitating conversations, resolving ambiguity, shaping practical artefacts, and helping teams make quick decisions to accelerate progress.

You'll also play a broader orchestration role across related priorities - connecting strategic intent with implementation, bringing clarity to what needs to happen next, and ensuring we create reusable patterns that can be lifted and scaled beyond the initial rollout areas.

This is a high-impact role for someone who can influence at senior levels, bring structure to complexity and build momentum in change. You'll help shape how Product at CBA shows up in practice for teams and leaders.

On any given week you will

  • Partner with senior leaders across Product at CBA, Consumer Finance and Home Buying to align on priorities, scope, outcomes and the target state for product model activation
  • Shape and drive rollout plans, sequencing activity across teams, forums and decision points to keep momentum and manage dependencies
  • Translate the CBA Product Model into practical artefacts - operating rhythms, governance, role clarity, team interfaces, outcome measures and playbooks for product, engineering and design triads
  • Facilitate working sessions that unblock issues, resolve ambiguity and build alignment across product, engineering, design, risk, operations and business stakeholders
  • Stand up and run orchestration cadences, steering forums and follow-through mechanisms that keep multiple workstreams connected and moving
  • Track adoption signals, capture insights from the rollout, and adjust the approach based on evidence, feedback and business context
  • Build reusable patterns and change assets that can scale across other Domains over time

About You:

  • A strategic thinker and hands-on operator - you move comfortably between framing, planning and execution
  • Experience in ways of working activation, product transformation, product ops, portfolio orchestration, or complex change delivery
  • Grasp of modern product management and the mechanics that make it work in practice like product boundaries, outcomes, roadmaps, triads, governance and prioritisation
  • Ability to influence senior leaders and build alignment across diverse stakeholder groups in large, matrixed organisations
  • Experience working in complex or regulated environments, with strong appreciation of risk, compliance and governance
  • Facilitation, communication and storytelling skills - you create clarity, remove complexity and keep people moving
  • Ability to orchestrate across multiple workstreams, interdependencies and competing priorities without losing sight of outcomes
  • Pragmatic, commercial and customer-focused - you know how to balance ambition with delivery reality

We look forward to hearing from you !
